The fee for your endodontic treatment will be based on the extent of treatment. During your first visit we will discuss the probable number of visits, their length, and the fees involved.
Our fees are as follows: Evaluation: $165. Root canal treatment on an Anterior tooth: $900-$1000 Premolars/Bicuspids: $1,010-$1110 and Molars: $1210-$1310. For typical teeth that have not had previous root canal treatment, the fees may be at the low end of the range. For difficult teeth or teeth with previous root canal treatment, the fees may be in the high end of the range.
For our patients without dental insurance, it is our policy that your dental care is paid for at the time your treatment is initiated. We are Preferred Providers for Delta Dental PPO, Ameritas PPO, Principal Life PPO, Cigna PPO, Metlife PPO, and Anthem Blue Cross PPO (Dental Blue Plan). For our patients with other dental insurances, we will contact your insurance company before we provide any treatment. We generally do not submit pre-treatment estimates. In most cases they will provide us with basic information about your insurance benefits and may give us an estimate of how much of the cost they will cover. That way, we will be able to give you an estimate of your out of pocket cost. In most cases, 30% of the treatment fee is due at the time your dental treatment is initiated. Please keep in mind however that all insurance companies are different and their coverages vary widely. The evaluation fee is always due in full at your initial visit. We will gladly file an insurance claim for the evaluation and you will be reimbursed if your insurance company provides payment for the visit. We will file your insurance claim that same day to expedite payment. If the insurance payment is less than the estimated amount, you will be responsible for the balance. If the insurance payment is more than the estimated amount, you will be sent a refund check from our accounting office within 7 days.
